Manic Street Preachers present first new music in three years, "Decline & Fall"

“Decline & Fall” marks their first new music since their 2021 album, The Extremely Vivid Lament. Recorded on the band’s Door To The River studio in Newport and Rockfield Studios, Monmouth, it was produced by common collaborators Dave Eringa and Loz Williams and combined by Caesar Edmunds (Seaside Home/Suede/Moist Leg).

On the brand new music, the band say: “Musically with ‘Decline & Fall’ we tried to create ahead movement – a music which harnesses the previous to propel it into the longer term – the lyric is considered one of realisation and understanding – of celebrating the tiny miracles that also exist while accepting and embracing managed decline”.
