Atlanta rapper Mercury has laid out plans for her debut album ‘Merczone’.
The rapper first caught consideration together with her wonderful ‘Merctape’ again in 2021, a dextrous mixtape that flitted between stylistic tropes, patiently asserting her personal identification.
Two initiatives and a number of other EPs later, Mercury has determined the second is correct for her subsequent step – that long-awaited debut album.
Out on October ninth, ‘Merczone’ is an announcement of her rise, a 14-track doc that spans her sonic passions.
New single ‘high2getby’ is a low-slung rap jam, with the beat’s codeine funk matched to bars of actual precision – beneath the title, Mercury is able to discover tough areas of her life.

‘high2getby’ is a music I wrote after I was in LA. It’s actually about me and the way I cope to exist in life and the small issues that make me completely satisfied about my life and assist me to get by. It’s additionally a double entendre of the little issues in life that make you are feeling excessive.
