Future Islands Share One-Off Single 'Glimpse' | News

Future Islands have shared new single ‘Glimpse’.

The Baltimore experi-pop group not too long ago returned with their album ‘Folks Who Aren’t There Anymore’, and the periods proved to be exceptionally productive.

Alongside some intensive touring, the band have dipped again into their studio tapes, retrieving a monitor that was initially left off the album.

Out now, ‘Glimpse’ speaks to the album’s broader themes – working with unity, as a gaggle, every half is interlocked towards the following.

Lyrically, ‘Glimpse’ is a few household dwelling burning down, and the trauma this unleashes. The method of absorbing the erasure of non-public historical past is channelled by Samuel T Herring’s vocal, with its dips, curves, and idiosyncrasies.

Cowl artwork comes from BEEDALLO – faucet in under.
