“BIG FISH is certainly the heaviest music on the album. The lyrics are from a demo I wrote earlier than Blood Wizard, after I was in my previous band,” says Cai Burns. “They have been written through the dying throes of that venture, as I used to be coping with the closing of a giant chapter of my life. I began Blood Wizard to strategy making music once more with a extra relaxed mindset, so it’s good that it’s discovered its place on this album.”
Grinning William arrives three years after Burn’s critically acclaimed debut, Western Spaghetti. The album was previewed with Blood Wizard’s comeback single, “babytooth” and “Satan Dressed In Disguise”. Blood Wizard will embark on a headline tour later this 12 months, with the run culminating at The Lexington, London, on 6 December.
