Becoming a member of Le Guess Who?’s common competition line-up is known composer, pianist and flutist Brian Jackson, identified for his collaboration with Gil Scott Heron, and whose music influenced the likes of Widespread and Kendrick Lamar; UK’s first dub band Creation Insurgent, who broke new floor within the late Seventies, and now return to the stage after a 40-year absence with dwell combine by producer and founding father of On-U Sound label Adrian Sherwood.
South-London multidisciplinary artist GAIKA who performs along with poet and musician James Massiah; Turkish three-piece Haossaa; South London vocalist and musician Wu-Lu, Oslo-based collective DNA? AND? consisting of younger individuals with Down syndrome performing improvised music with skilled artists; Scientist, one of the distinctive figures on the Jamaican music scene, and lots of extra.
