South London singer-songwriter Kemi Ade returns with new single ‘Gaslight’, out by way of Doctored Sound.
Over crisp, retro-stylized manufacturing, Ade sings of the turbulence that always mars fashionable romance – the gaslighting, the manipulation, the power-play. Lyrically Ade contrasts emotions of emotional strife and disillusionment with vivid, hazy manufacturing courtesy of Simon Byrt (Jessie Ware).
