Haley Heynderickx announces second album, Seed of a Seed

Talking about “Foxglove”, Heynderickx says: “‘Foxglove’ is my daydream tune craving a slower and easier tempo of life. Generally all of it feels so distant – residing in a metropolis being so faraway from a life entwined with nature.”

Asserting the album and single via her Instagram page, she wrote: “I wished to ask: how will we return to lives immersed in nature, when most of us stay within the metropolis? The irony isn’t misplaced on me, to jot down from a spot of deep silence and darkish greenery of the pnw after which spend most my life on the highway. I hope to bridge these worlds sometime.”

Seed of a Seed explores how distant we will really feel from nature and ourselves in a world of know-how, overconsumption, and consumerism. This album doesn’t offer you simple solutions. She continues to be rising and altering, and her songs invite us to note that in ourselves as nicely. She admits, “the irony is I will nonetheless be asking these questions; I am not on the opposite facet of it.”

Seed of a Seed follows her 2018 debut file, I Have to Begin a Backyard.
