Ravyn Lenae Announces New Album 'Bird's Eye' | News

Chicago singer-songwriter Ravyn Lenae has introduced her new album, ‘Fowl’s Eye’, out August ninth through Atlantic Information.

The album reveal comes two years after acclaimed full-length ‘Hypnos’, which noticed Lenae stage up sonically by means of collaborations with Kaytranada, Steve Lacy, Smino, Fousheé, and extra contributing to a multi-faceted mission. New album ‘Fowl’s Eye’ is govt produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Dahi (Drake, SZA, Kendrick Lamar), who alongside Lenae masterminds two new singles, ‘Love Me Not’ and ‘Love Is Blind’.

Each ‘Love is Blind’ and ‘Love Me Not’ discover conflicting emotions of relational want and dependency, the previous recalling Lenae’s plaintive soul sound, while the latter ventures to a bolder crossover pop territory. Of the album, Lenae says: “‘Fowl’s Eye’ signifies returning to a spot of self-trust and unbending instinct whereas acknowledging the paths and turns I’ve taken to get right here. Revisiting probably the most primary components of my identification has allowed me to completely embrace them and be pleased with the place I’m going.”
