‘butterflies’ is about that feeling you get once you’re falling for somebody, that feeling like you possibly can’t get sufficient of them, pondering of them makes you a bit feral, that daydreamy floating away feeling with the ‘ahhhh’ makes it really feel playful and youthful, like falling in love for the primary time… the butterfly represents transformation, progress, change, as does the phrase ‘akira’, that means daybreak and rebirth.
