Griff Soars On New Single 'Anything'

Ben Lukas Boysen has laid out plans for brand new album ‘Alta Ripa’.

Out on November twenty ninth, it finds the digital composer switching lanes as soon as extra. 2020 album ‘Mirage’ was celebrated on its launch, discovering Ben Lukas Boysen opening his work as much as different voices. The likes of cellist Anne Müller, flugelhorn participant Steffen Zimmer, and drummer Achim Färber all contributed, leading to a multi-faceted aural expertise.

New album ‘Alta Ripa’ switches again from this. Out on November twenty ninth through Erased Tapes, it’s a re-engagement with computer-oriented music, a solo endeavour that takes Ben again to his roots.

In a word, he says the LP is “one thing the 15-year-old in me would have preferred to listen to however solely the grown-up model of myself can write.”

Tapping into his foundations, the document is led by new track ‘Quasar’ – an analogue work that blends his pure soundscape longings with an admiration of the vitality a membership area can convey.

‘Alta Ripa’ is a love letter to my hometown, a spot and time I think about completely influential to who I’m as we speak. It was an period of discovery and studying, of coming of age and music created from synths and samplers. This album pays homage to these early days and goes again to my roots each musically and emotionally. ‘Quasar’ opens up this journey with plenty of analogue heat, digital friction, and hidden breaks.
