In a press release posted on their socials, Huge Thief introduced the departure of longtime bassist Max Oleartchik, writing: “After many lovely years collectively, Max is not in Huge Thief. Our love for one another is infinite, and we’re so grateful for all we’ve got shared these a few years collectively for the reason that starting of our journey as a band,” Huge Thief’s assertion learn.
On Sunday night, the band performed their first present with out him – as a 5 piece with Justin Felton on bass, in addition to a second drummer – and in addition debuted ten new songs as a part of their set.
