Efterklang launched their newest sonic chapter with “Getting Reminders” – a stand-alone single that includes Beirut’s Zach Condon on trumpet. This was adopted with “To A New Day”, “Plant” that includes Mabe Fratti on cello and vocals, and “Animated Heart” starring Sønderjysk Pigekor (South Denmark Women’ Choir).
“Sentiment” centres across the lyric “every little thing revolves round love”. The final tune written for Issues We Have In Frequent, it affords a conclusion to the method Efterklang went by means of to create the document, together with authentic Efterklang member Rune Mølgaard’s return to co-write the document with the band after 15 years away. It feels applicable that the tune is being launched on Efterklang bassist Rasmus Stolberg’s birthday and that he calls it his favorite tune on the album.
