“God Assist Me Now” was co-written alongside Benjamin Francis-Leftwich, and produced by Joel Johnston of Far Caspian.
“’God Assist Me Now’ is essentially the most sincere music I’ve ever written. I approached co-writers Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Jack Leonard again in September with my coronary heart on my sleeve, opening up about how I had so many issues I needed to jot down about that scared me,” Ellur reveals. “I joked with them about my goals of writing that one music the place individuals get on their mates shoulders and scream the lyrics. I needed to jot down somebody’s favorite music.”
