Following on from earlier single, “Des Goblin”, “Shut Name” is a sympathetic tune in regards to the challenges confronted by the forgotten and bored youth of Dublin.
“The album is a loud, guitar pushed odyssey of our disillusionment with the trendy world,” the band says of their forthcoming debut album.
Gurriers have additionally introduced an intensive UK and European tour for October and November 2024. The tour contains six new reveals in Eire with a Dublin present at Whelans on 26 November in addition to six dates throughout the UK together with a London present at Moth Membership on 6 November.
