Honeyglaze Detail New Album 'Real Deal' | News

Honeyglaze will launch new album ‘Actual Deal’ on September twentieth.

The three-piece received hearts with their self-titled debut album in 2022, with CLASH reviewer Oshen Douglas McCormick stating that the LP presents “an endearing exploration of discovery and reality that leaves the listener with a heat feeling of being heard.”

Snapped up by Fats Possum, Honeyglaze will launch their second album this Autumn. Out on September twentieth, recording noticed the three-piece work with Claudius Mittendorfer (Parquet Courts, Interpol).

New music ‘Don’t is a message of rage – albeit one which cross-references Future’s Youngster immortal ‘Payments Payments Payments’. Anouska Sokolow leads from the entrance, but it surely’s a punchy, helter-skelter efficiency that reveals the band at their greatest.

Anouska feedback…

“Based mostly on my favorite Future’s Youngster music ‘payments, payments, payments’ (which can be a music about being executed with waste males), ‘Don’t’ was written after the tip of a very unhealthy relationship and I had this anger at each man I felt had ever wronged me or spoken all the way down to me. It’s actually enjoyable to be aggressive and direct typically, particularly when it’s sudden.”

Out now, ‘Don’t’ comes with a James Ogram directed music video, by which Anouska Sokolow battles her well beyond seedy paparazzi.

Tune in now.
