Recording ‘Wavelength’ began out how most of our tracks do, cosied up in Andy Gannon’s Manchester studio throwing concepts on the wall. We didn’t know when Cal wrote this music and launched the concept out at us all it could evolve into precisely what we wanted! Because the music got here increasingly to life we realised we had one thing that not solely completely encapsulated and emoted the band’s ‘carefree good instances’ philosophy and message, but additionally one thing that musically that traditional and timeless, in addition to putting all of the indie-pop tones that make it equally recent and present.
