“All You Kids” is the second collaboration from the 2 artists, with Jamie beforehand contributing (alongside Neneh Cherry) to “Wherever You Go” from The Avalanches’ 2020 album We Will All the time Love You.
Talking about “All You Kids”, Jamie xx says: “The Avalanches have all the time been an inspiration for me. The forthcoming launch comes 9 years on from the discharge of his GRAMMY, BRIT, Ivor Novello and Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album, In Color, and sees Jamie collaborate with Honey Dijon, Robyn, Kelsey Lu, John Glacier and Panda Bear, Oona Doherty and his The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim.
In Waves can be obtainable as a deluxe LP which can function a bonus 12” of earlier singles “It’s So Good”, “KILL DEM” and “LET’S DO IT AGAIN” plus two unique new tracks: “F U (ft. Erykah Badu)” and “Do One thing”.
