Oneda's 'Let Me In' Is A Message To The Gatekeepers | News

Oneda tackles music trade gatekeepers on new single ‘Let Me In’.

The music world generally is a troublesome place to navigate – particularly for a girl of color who doesn’t wish to sit in pre-arranged pigeonholes. Devoutly unbiased, Oneda has been knocking on the door of British music for some time now… and he or she’s drained.

Out now, new single ‘Let Me In’ is a spot for her frustrations, sending a message to the music trade powers-that-be. Recent from the success of ‘Set It Off’ and ‘Superwoman’, Oneda isn’t about to be stopped, with the crunching hip-hop beat offsetting her vocal.

“’Let Me In’ is a metaphor for being accepted into the trade as I’m,” OneDa explains. “It speaks to my relentless, constant efforts to interrupt by way of till the door lastly opens.”
