Sarah Kingsley is bouncing again with model new single ‘Realms’, launched through Verve Forecast/Decca.
Plucked from her forthcoming debut album ‘Escaper’, the NYC musician creates a sound filled with motion and vim, unpacking themes of romance, friendships, grief and dynamics. Throughout, the artist is drawn in the direction of the craft of world-building, utilising her music as a cinematic backdrop to her common experiences. ‘Realms’ is not any totally different, a vibrant providing that pin-drops the listener into the motion, piecing collectively an elevated instrumentation with indie-pop sensibilities.
Set to launch on September sixth, ‘Escaper’ marks a definitive step for Kingsley, reflecting on her formative background in classical music. Lending her focus to the stay expertise, the artist will set off on a headline tour throughout North America, Europe and the UK, road-testing her new materials alongside the way in which.
Talking on her newest launch, Kingsley shares: “Realms is a query of all of the infinite prospects of alternate universes and parallel planes. In one other world perhaps I’m not a musician, perhaps I’m a dentist, a graduate scholar, a barista, a baby, a reminiscence, an expertise, a factor that by no means occurred, an individual that by no means was! These are unknown eternities of who we may be in another realm.”
