“It has essentially the most indie vibes we’ve leaned into up to now as a result of it was written on an acoustic guitar”, says Lucia de la Garza, who wrote and sings on the tune. “Recording it was actually enjoyable, filled with plenty of dancing within the studio. “I wrote ‘All In My Head,’ from the attitude of a e-book character, which kinda introduced us out of our consolation zone.”
She learn the e-book, My 12 months of Relaxation And Rest, on tour final summer time and the character served because the inspiration for the tune. She continues, “It felt like a break from actuality, which we don’t normally discover ourselves writing about.”
Whereas their evolution as writers, performers and studio geeks is obvious on No Obligation, their ethos stay steadfast. The band beforehand teased the brand new music with two album tracks together with ”Too Many Things,” and “Revolution / Decision.”
The Linda Lindas debut album, Rising Up was launched in 2022.
