Chaz Bear recognized professionally as Toro y Moi has introduced a headline tour throughout the UK and Europe, in celebration of his new album ‘Hole Erth‘, which is out now.
The tour commences in March 2025 at Vicar Avenue in Dublin, earlier than shifting to New Century Corridor, Manchester and The Roundhouse in London. Tickets go on common sale this Friday at 9am BST
Throughout the thirteen-track ‘Gap Erth’, which follows 2023 transitional EP ‘Sandhills‘, Toro y Moi synthesizes a love of pop-punk and processed, vapor-wave rap. What might really feel like a pointy pivot to some is actually a pure reflection of present threads in Chaz Bear’s prolific profession; from his childhood immersion in emo tradition, to his previous manufacturing work for a few of the largest names in rap. ‘Gap Erth’ options Benjamin Gibbard, Elijah Kessler, Don Toliver, Kevin Summary and extra.
Coinciding with the album launch, Toro y Moi has shared two new Kristie Muller-directed music movies for album tracks ‘Madonna’ and ‘Babydaddy’.
